 I have lived, worked, and traveled internationally for a large part of my adult life, managing construction projects from start to finish, completing all on schedule, on budget, and above all, safely without incidence. With more than 25 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, project management, including positions from mechanic up to department head, I have the skills to make an immediate and positive impact in any position an organization would like to consider me for.

• Military      reinforced strong background in leadership, technical training and      languages (Spanish, German and Russian).
• Supervising construction      of multimillion-dollar construction projects, shut-downs and repairs,      conducting inspections, verifying equipment, delegating tasks, and      ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Troubleshooting      equipment and system issues and failures, diagnosing problems and      performing hands-on repairs to swiftly return them to working condition.
• Utilizing      CMMS and tribology to move organizations from run-to-failure methodology      into predictive maintenance and right sizing of equipment, effective use      of repair budgets, and better utilization of capital.
• Embracing      technology to identify potential problems, wasted resources, and      under-performing assets, whether equipment, units, or individuals.
• Motivating,      evaluating, and directing highly productive and reliable diverse teams      while demonstrating superior communication, time management, and      organization abilities.

My background includes proven success overseeing electric shovel and dragline construction projects all over the world. I have coordinated electrical and mechanical teams to construct, commission, maintain, and repair a wide variety of both mobile and fixed heavy mining equipment and have managed a very diverse group of technical teams in some of the most isolated areas of the world, including Siberia, Inner Mongolia, and several locations in north eastern China.

I have also managed an entire maintenance department, which included two shops and thirty-two technicians, and included complete tracking of all mobile equipment maintenance, parts procurement, warranty tracking, and service negotiations. Capital budget planning and life-cycle forecasting, along with project management and safety leadership have been key duties over the past several years. I have reported to vice-presidents, general managers, colonels, and generals. I understand priorities, chain of command, and the value of every person pulling toward a common goal.
